Here's the situation. 24 years old, 84kg, approx 10kg overweight. Disgrace.
I'm setting up this blog to keep tabs on what I'm calling my comeback. A comeback simply because I was an athlete once, nothing spectacular but I was fit and active. A degree and 3 years later I'm a couch potato with half the enthusiasm for the day I used to have.
This afternoon I decided I had enough. Time-wise there's nothing stopping me from getting back in shape, no more excuses about studies and obligations. My only obligation now is to do this for myself. I'm setting a goal of fit by end of summer. If you want specifics, I want to drop down to 78kg by end of July, with the trim that comes with it.
There's no playing around this time. No quick fix diets and false promises. I'm taking on a brute force approach where i'll basically cram in all the training I can. My daily goal is simple....get home exhausted. I'll figure out the exact routines and whatever as I go along, I've done it all before anyway.
If there's anyone out there in the same situation that you've been dying to get off your ass and get back to your former shape, I'd love the online company. I'll be posting everything here, so if I slack off, you'll know about it. If I eat junk food, you'll know about it. And I expect you to give me hell for it.
As I said, there's no mucking around with this one. This blog is gonna be plain and simple, road to comeback 2011.
